SPEED was a seven member group under MBK Entertainment. Their profile was removed from MBK Entertainment's site in late 2015, and they have since disbanded moving onto solo activities.
2012
SPEED began as the male sub-unit of Coed School, who debuted in 2010. The original line-up included Kwanghaeng, Jungwoo, Taewoon, Noori, Jongkook and Sungmin. They went onto release 'Lovey-Dovey Plus' as part of the 'Hommage to Lovey-Dovey' single album on February 14. 'Lovey-Dovey Plus' was a remake of T-ARA's song 'Lovey-Dovey'. The remake included Ryu Hwayoung (formerly of T-ARA) and Ryu Hyoyoung (formerly of Coed School and it's female sub-unit F-ve Dolls).
A few days later, Sejun was added to the group.
Kwanghaeng and Noori left the group in September, replaced by Yuhwan and Taeha in October.
In December, Core Contents Media (now MBK Entertainment) announced that SPEED would release the album Superior SPEED.
2013
On January 7, SPEED put out the single album 'Speed of Light' as a pre-release for their album. The title track was 'Sad Promise' or 'That's My Fault'.
SPEED officially made their debut on January 15 with their first studio album 'Superior SPEED' and title track 'It's Over'.
They made their first comeback with the repacked album 'Blow Speed' with the title track 'Pain the Love of Heart'.
Later that year, Core Contents Media clarified that they had no plans to continue with Coed School, meaning that SPEED was now an independent group.
2014
SPEED held a showcase in Mongolia from February 3-7 to promote their upcoming mini-album.
They released their first mini-album 'Speed Circus' on February 18, with the title track 'Don't Tease Me'. Taewoon participated in the production, compsition and lyrics of this mini-album and following releases of SPEED in 2014. Members also participated in choreography for this mini-album.
On March 18, the single 'Zombie Party' was released. This was followed by the release of repackaged mini-album 'Look At Me Now' on April 3.
2015
Taewoon announced his departure from SPEED in March 2015. New member KI-O was revealed through winter project single 'White Snow' alongside featuring in the music video and performances of Elsie's (T-ARA Eunjung) solo debut 'I'm Good'.
SPEED made a comeback with their second mini-album 'SPEED ON' on June 1. Yuhwan became the leader of SPEED after the departure of their previous leader, Taewoon.
SPEED's profile was removed from MBK Entertainment's website in November, indicating that they may have disbanded. However, their disbandment has never been confirmed.
